About The Role

Join us as the Engineering Manager for Germany Global Payroll, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a billion-dollar vertical. You’ll drive the strategy and execution of critical payroll solutions across multiple markets, working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll be hands-on in leading a product crucial to Rippling’s international expansion, as we expand into the market. What You Will Do

• Build and drive day-to-day processes that lead to a highly efficient team of high performing engineers.
• Set the direction of your team. Anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges and create an actionable plan to solve them.
• Collaborate with sales, product, support, and operations teams in shaping the product.

What You Will Need

• 7+ years of experience in software development and delivery, with in-depth knowledge of software architectures.
• 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager in leading small and mid-sized development teams.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or experience in a relevant field.
• Solid programming skills, a track record, and passion for improving the code structure and architecture to enhance testability and maintainability.
• Great project management skills to lead, care about product ownership, an outstanding customer-centric mindset, and solving problems for our customers.
• Hands-on development experience using Python, Django, MongoDB, React, AWS is a plus.
