We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a successful and specialist digital studio in South Yorkshire. This is a role for an experienced developer who genuinely loves the process of coding, the kind who wants to dive into a complex codebase, map out the data flow and architect solutions that actually work. You will be joining a stable and creative team that handles everything from global brand sites to vital public sector tools. There is no hand holding here. You will have the autonomy to take ownership of your projects, choose the best path forward and lead the technical execution from start to finish.
The Technical Stack
- PHP and JavaScript: Strong OOP skills where you write clean code that the next person can actually read.
- Laravel and React: Extensive experience building modern and scalable web apps.
- API and Security: Ability to build secure and robust APIs using Laravel Passport or OAuth2.
- The Front End: High fidelity implementation of Figma designs using Sass and BEM.
- Infrastructure: Comfortable with the command line, SSH, Ubuntu and managing deployments via Laravel Forge and Envoyer.
- Data: Experience with MySQL and Redis in production environments.
You Will Thrive Here If
- You prefer a text editor and a laptop over endless meetings.
- You can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical people without the BS.
- You have leadership instincts and want to help set the standards for a growing dev team.
- You care about accessibility and performance rather than just making it look like the picture.
The Vibe and Perks
This is a friendly and ego free studio where your work is valued and your voice is heard. They believe in doing great work with people who care, but they also believe in life outside of the office.
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays and a studio culture that actually respects your downtime.
