We have a fantastic opportunity for a quality-driven Operations Manager join our client, a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality medical equipment. Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, this is a hands-on role providing day-to-day operational leadership across manufacturing, quality and supply chain. Beyond driving site-level performance and health and safety, you’ll collaborate directly with executive leadership on longer term business planning and represent the site during group leadership forums designed for strategic knowledge sharing across the wider corporate network. The Scope You will oversee a close-knit, highly integrated site with direct leadership spanning: * Manufacturing. * Quality Assurance. * Goods in/out and inventory control. * Purchasing and supplier performance. * Site maintenance and facilities work. Where You’ll Drive Impact * Champion site compliance, maintaining and elevating quality systems and ISO standards (including medical device requirements). * Drive continuous improvement, 5S, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies across production and supply chain workflows. * Complete operational responsibility for site health and safety, operational performance, and team development. * Partner with executive leadership to evolve, deploy, and execute business growth goals. What You'll Bring * Operations leadership in medical device manufacturing, pharma or similarly regulated manufacturing (past experience counts; it doesn’t have to be your last job) * Solid understanding of ISO framework adherence, internal/external audits, and quality-led manufacturing practices. * Proven track record of managing operations across manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, and quality functions. * Hands-on experience embedding Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement practices into operational culture. * A grounded, present leader who thrives on daily collaboration with site teams. Compensation * Starting salary of c£65,000 + package * High-level operational authority paired with group-level strategic exposure. * The agility and responsiveness of a close-knit site backed by broader group resources.
