About the Role
We are recruiting a Work & Health Coach to support delivery of the DWP WorkWell programme, delivered locally through Ripple Touch.
This role focuses on providing person-centred, strengths-based support to individuals with health conditions or additional barriers, helping them progress towards sustainable, good-quality employment that supports their health and wellbeing.
You will work closely with participants, employers, Jobcentre Plus, health partners, and community organisations across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland, contributing to a joined-up approach between health and employment.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver one-to-one Work & Health coaching to participants referred through the WorkWell pathway
· Develop and review individualised WorkWell action plans integrating health, wellbeing, and employment goals
· Support participants to understand and manage health-related barriers to work
· Build participant confidence, motivation, and employability skills
· Work with employers to explore suitable job opportunities and reasonable adjustments
· Support participants into sustainable employment and progression, aligned to WorkWell outcomes
· Maintain accurate records, outcomes, and case notes in line with DWP and programme requirements
· Work collaboratively with Ripple Touch colleagues, health services, Jobcentre Plus, and voluntary sector partners
About You
Essential:
· Experience supporting people with barriers into work (employability, health, community, or support services)
· A person-centred and strengths-based approach
· Understanding of how physical or mental health conditions can impact employment
· Strong communication, engagement, and organisational skills
· Ability to manage a caseload and work towards agreed outcomes
· Commitment to equality, inclusion, and safeguarding
Desirable:
· Experience working on DWP-funded or outcome-focused programmes
· Knowledge of inclusive employment and reasonable adjustments
· Coaching or mentoring qualification
· Experience working with health or statutory services
Travel Requirement
Ability to travel across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland to attend delivery sites, partner locations, and appointments. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable; reasonable adjustments will be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Pay: £31,049.00 per year
