Ripple Recruitment Ltd
We have partnered with a fantastic, purpose-led digital agency seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack PHP Developer to join their growing team. Available as a Fully Remote position with a 4 Day Working Week This agency works closely with charities, membership organisations, and ethical brands to build high-impact digital experiences. If you are looking for a role where your technical skills directly support meaningful, real-world causes, this is an excellent environment to grow in. Sitting between the agency's dedicated WordPress and Laravel specialists, this role is designed to bring consistency and support across a wide range of projects. You will report directly to the Technical Director, contributing to everything from new custom builds and API integrations to ongoing platform maintenance and performance tuning. This is an ideal role for a developer who enjoys a varied workload, feels comfortable moving between CMS and bespoke application development, and wants to work across the full development lifecycle. Confidently contribute to both custom WordPress builds and bespoke Laravel applications, ensuring high quality across both codebases. Connect multiple systems together, working heavily with APIs, webhooks, and third-party platforms (Stripe, CRMs, and charity-specific tools). Partner with designers, UX specialists, and fellow developers to deliver robust, highly accessible digital products. Troubleshoot technical issues across application code, hosting environments, and deployment workflows. Strong commercial experience with PHP. Solid experience building and maintaining Laravel applications (routing, Eloquent, queues, migrations). Solid experience building custom WordPress sites using Timber and ACF (Custom Fields/Post Types). A good understanding of modern front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). A passion for web performance, accessibility, and security. Familiarity with lightweight frameworks (Livewire, Alpine, Vue). Exposure to Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, or automated deployment tooling. Join a collaborative team building digital products that make a genuine difference. ~100% remote working from anywhere in the UK. ~ A structured 4-day working week on a full-time salary. If you’re a mid-level developer looking for a stable, collaborative environment and meaningful work, please apply with your CV today for immediate consideration. My client is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
