Tutors receive in-depth student info, structured topic roadmaps, curated resources and light, efficient systems. Ripple handles scheduling, payments, logistics and educational advice, so tutors can focus fully on the hour with each child. Ripple has been values-led from the start — 10% of everything we earn is donated to UK education charities tackling educational inequality.

The Role

• 1-to-1 Maths and/or English tutoring in students’ homes
• First tutoring jobs available December/January
• Weekly sessions outside school time (weekday afternoons/evenings; weekends available)
• Choose your availability; looking for tutors able to commit 5+ hours weekly (ideally 10+)

Pay

• Primary & KS3 Tutors: £25–£35 p/h
• Specialist Tutors (11+, SEN): £35–£45 p/h

Pay Increases

• Positive Feedback: pay increase after strong client feedback
• Commitment: increase once delivering 8+ weekly hours
• Annual pay review for inflation + progression

Progression Opportunities

• Group tutoring (higher rate)

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience teaching/tutoring Primary or KS3 Maths/English
• 11+ experience (English/Maths, VR/NVR) for specialist roles
• Warm, patient, creative and engaging teaching style
• Able to travel to N16/E8/E5
• Reliable and consistent over at least a school term (ideally full year)
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
