We’re looking for experienced catering staff to join our bank team in Alnwick and surrounding areas, to support schools with high-quality supply staff.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and serve food following agreed menus and accommodating any special dietary requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the school kitchen including equipment and surrounding working areas.
- Set up and clear away after lunch including washing up and cleaning tables.
- Comply with all food and Health and Safety standards and regulation.
- Take responsibility for maintaining and ordering stock and ensure appropriate storage and labelling procedures are followed.
Work Related Circumstances
- Ability to work flexibly.
- Participate in training.
- A commitment to ensuring a safe environment for children, with thorough knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Experience/Qualifications
- Have basic food hygiene certificate.
- Experience of working in a school kitchen or similar environment.
