- Experience teaching within a primary school

- Strong classroom management skills
- A good understanding of planning, assessment and the primary curriculum
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and the wider school community
- A flexible and proactive approach to working in different school environments
