Role and Location
The school is seeking a committed primary teacher in Berwick-upon-Tweed. The role involves delivering the Year 6 curriculum and preparing children for Year 6 SATs. With Ripple Education, you will have opportunities to develop your skills as an educator and receive bespoke support and training, whilst becoming a valued member of the Ripple community. Our Senior Leadership Team consists of friendly, experienced teachers who are passionate about education.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of teaching and learning to pupils.
- Create and maintain positive relationships of mutual trust with students, parents and colleagues.
- Be involved in the wider life of the school and contribute to its success.
- Show initiative with minimal supervision and work as part of a team.
- Demonstrate good oral and written communication and strong organisational and time management skills.
Person Specification / Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience working in a primary and/or secondary school
- Be an excellent practitioner with high expectations and aspirations for all children
- Excellent classroom management and proficiency in planning, assessment and target setting
- Effective communication with colleagues and the wider community
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum of 2 references
- Enhanced DBS clearance
