At Ripple Education, we’re proud to support schools across Northumberland with high-quality school staff and right now, we’re looking for a catering assistant to join one of our lovely schools in the Haydon Bridge and Hexham Area.

Minimum Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum of 2 references
- Enhanced DBS clearance
Experience/Qualifications
- Have a basic food hygiene certificate
- Experience of working in a school kitchen or similar environment
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and serve food following agreed menus and accommodating any special dietary requirements
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the school kitchen including equipment and surrounding working areas
- Set up and clear away after lunch including washing up and cleaning tables
- Comply with all food and Health and Safety standards and regulations
- Take responsibility for maintaining and ordering stock and ensure appropriate storage and labelling procedures are followed
