What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a secondary school
- Strong knowledge of your subject specialism
- High expectations for all pupils
- Strong classroom management skills
- Confidence with planning, assessment and adapting learning where required
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding
- The ability to build positive professional relationships with pupils and school staff
- A flexible and proactive approach to working in different school environments
We welcome applications from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The role
- Deliver engaging lessons within your subject specialism
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment
- Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils
- Plan and assess learning where required
- Provide effective classroom cover for short-term assignmentsWork collaboratively with teaching assistants, teachers and wider school teams
- Follow individual school policies, procedures and expectations
- Follow school and Ripple Education safeguarding procedures at all times
