We are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Berwick-Upon-Tweed with immediate start. This is a long term, full time position. There are opportunities for short term, long term, full time and part time roles. We also have flexible day to day supply roles if that suits you best.

Person Specification- Minimum Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum of 2 references
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / Level 6 Qualification - Degree
- Experience working in a primary school
- To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children
- Support the school staff to facilitate the active participation of children in the academic and social activities of a school
- Contribute to raising standards of achievement for all pupils
- To implement the daily routine
- When directed, plan and implement age-appropriate activities, in conjunction with other staff
- Assisting children in personal/intimate care
- Regularly evaluate children's development and keep records as appropriate, as directed by the teacher
- Liaise with parents/carers of children, only when directed by a school's class teacher
- Uphold the Ripple Education ethos and all safeguarding requirements, including ensuring that children are supervised at all times
- To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children at each stage of development
