Join us as a Policy and Strategy Manager
We\’re looking for a strategic, analytical policy professional to help shape evidence‑based policy. You’ll turn complex claims and operational data into clear, decision‑ready insights that inform policy development.
You’ll work closely with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), legal teams, and actuarial and cost advisers. You’ll support key claims policy work and provide expert support to the Senior Management Team, Chief Executive, Board, and DHSC, ensuring policy decisions are well‑informed and their impact fully understood.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Using data to support DHSC and wider Government in policy development, including providing robust analysis and actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Preparing high‑quality policy papers and briefings to support senior audiences.
- Managing policy projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ensuring safe, effective use of data in line with NHS Resolution standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience working in a policy environment, ideally within health, justice or government.
- Strong analytical and judgement skills, with the ability to identify, quality‑assure, and interpret complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to clearly explain complex issues to senior audiences.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, plan work effectively and deliver high‑quality outputs.
