Location: Malton
We are looking for a Content Creator to join our Marketing Team at Ripon Farm Services. As a Content Creator, your role will require you to design and create different sorts of content types for the company’s communication channels. This will include creating social media posts, designing artwork as well as creating content for our company website and newsletter. To be successful in this role, you should have experience planning out the content in such a way that it helps in creating leads for our business.
Responsibilities
- Managing the company’s social media platforms
- Ideate, capture and post visual content that is effective and engaging for industry related topics
- Ensure channels are up to date and keeping up with new trends
- Conduct keyword research to optimise content
- Monthly reporting on the progress of the channels, analyzing web traffic to measure the success of the content (e.g. conversion and bounce rates)
- Writing, designing and creating company publications, adverts, posts and messaging
- Responsible for pulling together the company newsletter—from the initial design concept right through to the published document, involving cross‑team collaborations, collating information, writing articles, and designing the publication
- Ensuring all departments are represented in the company’s content output
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident and experienced in photography and videography
- Graphic Design experience (InDesign essential)
- Content writing experience
- Exceptional knowledge of Social Media Marketing
- Understanding of branding and the ability to keep a consistent tone of voice in writing/content
- Time management skills and ability to work with short deadlines (creating content around trends or for a campaign means that timeliness matters)
- Nice to have but not essential: Knowledge of and passion for the industry
Standard Hours & Salary
Standard hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00. From time to time there may be a requirement to support events and therefore an element of flexible working is available. Salary is dependent on experience.
