The role
We are seeking a Deployment Engineer to help deliver and operate our software platforms across customer environments. In this role you will work with engineering and delivery teams to ensure Ripjar's products can be deployed reliably, consistently, and efficiently. You will contribute to the tooling, automation, and processes used to package, deploy, and support our platforms across cloud and on‑premise environments. This role combines elements of deployment engineering, infrastructure automation, and operational support. It is well suited to engineers who enjoy working across infrastructure and applications, improving deployment workflows, and supporting complex distributed systems in production.
Key Tasks
- Support the deployment and integration of Ripjar's Screening software.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of deployment automation and tooling.
- Assist with packaging and releasing platform components for SaaS and enterprise deployments.
- Work with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and operational processes.
- Support environments used for development, testing, and production workloads.
- Investigate and resolve issues relating to deployment, configuration, and infrastructure.
- Develop scripts and tooling to automate operational and deployment tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to support successful customer implementations.
Requirements
We are looking for engineers with strong technical fundamentals and experience working with software deployments and infrastructure. You should have experience in several of the following areas:
- Supporting or implementing software deployments in production environments across cloud and on‑premise.
- Working with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
- Administering Linux‑based systems.
- Writing scripts or automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Troubleshooting issues across infrastructure, configuration, and application layers.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to diagnose and resolve operational issues.
