At the core is the Global Content Services team, the group responsible for operating the major League of Legends, Valorant, and Wild Rift competitive international tournaments, defining global policies for the sport, driving global narratives, and providing services to our regional leagues. Finance Coordinators at Riot are responsible for the collection and distribution of financial data across and contract management across our games, content service teams, and enterprise departments. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Production Finance, you will join our Global Content Services team to support live events and production related projects with cost management, tracking, budget reconciliation and contract administration from initial draft through full execution. Please note this will be a 12 month contract role.
Responsibilities
- Liaison with various stakeholders to traffic contracts, quotes and production elements through production for distribution to the contributing departments and tracking to completion.
- Work with Riot's purchasing team to set up vendors in our purchasing systems, request contracts, and issue invoices.
- Work with vendors and our Accounts Payable team to ensure Purchase Orders are paid in a timely manner.
- Gather Pro Player billback documentation for various departments, align with Player management to ensure the Pro Teams have signed off on the billbacks and send to AP for reduction of prize payments.
- Support contingent workforce hiring processes for studio and global events.
- Track and code invoices and production costs to ensure all costs are actualized and updated into the budgets.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of production accounting and/or finance experience within TV, Film or live events.
- 1+ years of contract administration.
- Strong ability to prioritize, be proactive, and be detail oriented.
- Proficient in the Google ecosystem (e.g., drive, docs, sheets).
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in processing payroll and labor laws.
