As Brand Manager, 2XKO for the EMEA Publishing HUB, you’re a part of our publishing team in EMEA and you help support game marketing and experiences for Riot’s upcoming fighting game and support and help run our organized play initiatives for 2XKO, primarily in France but also across multiple European markets. You love challenging convention, you’re willing to embrace the unknown and you’re able to keep a cool head when navigating our evolving portfolio of products.

You’ll be the focal point of interaction for all publishing needs for our offices and our partners, working directly with local publishing teams across EMEA, community, operations, and Organized Play teams. The powers of your experience in project management, content creation, managing partners and a deep-seated love for gaming will combine to help launch a new fight game within Riot’s ecosystem and be key to launching the organized play ecosystem for the game later this year. This job requires travel.

This role can be based in London (UK), Paris (France), Berlin (Germany), Barcelona (Spain), Istanbul (Turkiye), and Dubai (UAE), and will likely require some travel within Europe, this will be a 12 month contract.

The Team

As a Rioter within the EMEA Publishing Team, you’ll join a dedicated team of brand specialists committed to becoming the most player-focused game company in the world. You share our value of player experience first, rejection of convention, and intense passion for gaming.

You’ll report to the 2XKO EMEA Product lead and you’ll work as part of the EMEA brand team.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate publishing plans and strategy for 2XKO EMEA that engage, surprise and delight our players.
  • Support the 2XKO Product Lead EMEA with publishing plans and strategy for 2XKO EMEA.
  • Work with a variety of Riot teams to help support and set up social and organized play events for 2XKO.
  • Execute on various campaigns and tactics, including events, throughout the year (pre and post launch of 2XKO) with a focus on console.
  • Ensure that marketing assets, web content, and community materials are at the highest standard and representative of a player-focused approach.
  • Help EMEA offices build player and media connections and cohorts and coordinate the operations to support growth in channels and communities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in Branding, Product Management or Creative.
  • Experience supporting the go-to-market process for a new product or contributing to ongoing marketing for a console game.
  • Console publishing experience.
  • Knowledge of the fighting game market (e.g. past and current games, creators, competitive scene, marketing tactics), industry trends, partnerships and branded content landscape.
  • Understanding of brand campaign indicators, metrics, analytics, and media to develop creative strategies.
  • A good understanding of how a live game ecosystem is created and maintained.
  • Experience working with agencies and vendors.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with teams of different disciplines and crafts.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
  • Mobility and ability to freely travel within the EMEA region on short notice.

  • Strong communication skills: excellent ability to communicate effectively across teams, borders, time zones, or desks.
  • Experience working across multiple teams in different disciplines and locations, with excellent relationship management skills.
  • Besides English, you are fluent in French.
