A fast growing healthcare solutions provider is seeking a Business Development Manager to support continued expansion across the NHS and independent healthcare market. This is a hands on commercial role suited to someone who thrives in an agile, entrepreneurial environment rather than a large corporate structure.

The Role

  • Working alongside an experienced commercial team, you will focus on generating new business, opening opportunities with NHS trusts and independent providers, and strengthening long‑term regional relationships.
  • You will play a key role in increasing market share and driving utilisation of the organisation’s mobile imaging and equipment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across NHS trusts and healthcare providers.
  • Build strong regional relationships with operational, clinical and procurement stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of demand, capacity gaps and capital planning cycles.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to shape bids, proposals and commercial solutions.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and report on opportunities, utilisation and revenue forecasts.
  • Support long‑term contract growth through a consultative and partnership‑led approach.

About You

  • Experience in diagnostics, mobile imaging, medical equipment or NHS‑focused healthcare solutions.
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, procurement routes and decision‑making processes.
  • A consultative, relationship‑driven sales style (not transactional).
  • Someone comfortable in a smaller, fast‑moving organisation with a hands‑on mindset.
  • Resilience, proactivity and the ability to create and pursue opportunities independently.
  • Strong communication skills and credibility with NHS operational and clinical leaders.

Why This Role?

You will join a high performing, values‑driven commercial team with genuine autonomy and clear incentives. You will cover a significant regional territory and play a major part in the organisation’s next phase of growth.
