Ringway is seeking an experienced Supervisor (Roadside Technology) to join our team on the National Highways East contract. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning and overseeing traffic management for roadside technology works, ensuring operations run smoothly while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;
- To work safely and promote a safe environment for all operations for all personnel under your authority and others who may be affected by the Company’s activities such as the general public
- Front line responsibility for service delivery of reactive and cyclic maintenance works
- Take ownership of planning and arranging traffic management requirements for technology works
- Supervise and oversee operational teams and subcontractors in line with productivity and quality targets
- Monitor the skills and experience of subcontractors and liaise with other depots as required
- Actively foster a positive team spirit and improve communication across teams
- Carry out site visits, compliance checks and depot audits
- Coordinate road space applications and manage/review RAMS
- Actively promote and use bespoke software to support efficient service delivery
Essential Skills required;
The role of Supervisor requires good detailed knowledge of operational delivery and traffic management. You’ll need the ability to plan, coordinate and execute works in an organised way, ensuring profitable returns, safe working, and customer satisfaction.
- At all times adhere to company procedures with regard to Health & Safety and ensure team members do likewise
- Behave in a way that supports Ringway’s Vision and Values and foster the same within your team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility in working hours and ability to work with minimum supervision
- IT literacy (Word, Excel and bespoke systems)

- 12 A/B
- 12 C
- 12D T7 (for Managers and Client Officers)
- Ideally, high-speed traffic management knowledge
