Job Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join us as Highways Technicians or Trainee Supervisors – a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow in an exciting and rewarding industry.
Duties
- Work on highway maintenance and enhancement projects that positively impact local communities.
- Assist in the planning, mobilisation and supervision of projects that improve our local roads and infrastructure.
- Use cutting-edge tools like GIS mapping software.
- Attend sites to conduct audits or solve problems, order materials, prepare site documents – no two days are the same!
- Collaborate with experienced engineers, contractors, and local authorities.
- Learn about sustainability and innovative solutions in transport.
Person Specification
- Experience or knowledge in surface dressing or carriageway patching
- An eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and take initiative.
- Basic knowledge of highways and construction.
- Strong IT skills
- A team player with good communication skills.
- NVQ level accreditation is desirable
- A Full Clean valid UK driving license
