Construction Manager (Worcester)

We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to lead and deliver key highway maintenance schemes in Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the successful delivery of highway maintenance projects, from inception, through design development, mobilisation, implementation and completion.
• Lead and develop a team to achieve performance targets, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage resources effectively to optimise service delivery and meet contractual KPIs.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on safety, compliance, and innovation in service delivery.
• Ensure all operations align with health, safety, and environmental best practices.

About You:

• Proven experience in contracts or project management, ideally within highways, infrastructure, or civil engineering.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, at differing stages of delivery, with an ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance and team development.
• Commercial awareness, including budget and P&L management.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations.
• A proactive mindset with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
