We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to lead and deliver key highway maintenance schemes in Worcestershire.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the successful delivery of highway maintenance projects, from inception, through design development, mobilisation, implementation and completion.
- Lead and develop a team to achieve performance targets, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage resources effectively to optimise service delivery and meet contractual KPIs.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on safety, compliance, and innovation in service delivery.
- Ensure all operations align with health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Proven experience in contracts or project management, ideally within highways, infrastructure, or civil engineering.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, at differing stages of delivery, with an ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance and team development.
- Commercial awareness, including budget and P&L management.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
