Ringway is seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our team on the Highways Maintenance M1 Contract with National Highways. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing daily highway maintenance and improvement works, ensuring operations run smoothly while meeting efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
- Supervise the operational teams in line with productivity and quality targets and produce weekly costs and value using bespoke software.
- Monitor the skills and experience of operatives within the teams and work with the Area Manager to plan training and development.
- Work closely with the Plant and Fleet Department to manage the vehicle and equipment assets at best efficiency.
- Reduce vehicle damage incidents and promote a culture of valuing the company’s assets.
- Actively promote and use the bespoke software available to deliver the service requirements.
The role of Supervisor requires good detailed knowledge of operational issues. It will require the supervisor to develop, plan and execute daily works in an organised way to ensure profitable returns, safety for all teams and customer satisfaction. Training support will be essential to ensure that Supervisors have the skill set to meet all requirements of the role and this will be addressed through appraisal and training development.
