To carry out general maintenance works and operations, working with a Chargehand, undertaking a wide range of routine and cyclical works. To respond to emergencies and call outs during or out of hours on rotas as required and assist with winter maintenance activities as a second man or driver’s mate. Includes apprentices who have fully completed training.

- Potential & interest in obtaining LGV licence
- Undertaken training on: General health & safety awareness / Risk assessment awareness / Traffic Management / Use of PDA as required
- Ability to use small plant and equipment
- Ability to operate mini excavator
