Ringway is recruiting for a Scheduler to join its Reactive Maintenance team supporting the Surrey contract. This key role coordinates day‑to‑day highways maintenance activities, ensuring works are delivered efficiently across the network. You’ll be part of a team that helps keep Surrey’s roads safe and operational, playing a vital role in managing work requests, allocating resources, and supporting field teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule reactive maintenance works across the contract
  • Receive, log and process incoming work requests accurately
  • Allocate jobs to operational teams and monitor progress
  • Support urgent and emergency works, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Communicate effectively with operatives, internal teams, and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records across systems and ensure data integrity
  • Chase outstanding updates and ensure jobs are closed within SLA timelines
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team

Person Specification

  • Previous experience in a scheduling, coordination, or administrative role
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Experience managing workloads in a fast‑paced environment

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time – 40 hours, Monday to Friday
