The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
To carry out general maintenance works and operations, working with a Chargehand, undertaking a wide range of routine and cyclical works. To respond to emergencies and call outs during or out of hours on rotas as required and assist with winter maintenance activities as a second man or driver’s mate.

Specialist Skills:
- To have and be able to apply a wide range of generalist skills
- To understand risk assessments and to assess according to safe systems of work
- To be able to understand and carry out work as set out in a specification
- Generally hold 12 months+ experience
- Potential & interest in obtaining LGV licence
- Undertaken training on: General health & safety awareness / Risk assessment awareness / Traffic Management / Use of PDA as required
- Ability to use small plant and equipment
- Ability to operate mini excavator
General Competencies:
- Team player, prepared to contribute and participate fully in team work
- Prepared to work varying hours to meet the needs of the business
- Willingness to apply skills to a variety of different highways jobs, with changing team members
- Prepared to develop and undertake relevant training and qualifications

- To understand and be responsible for own safety, plus that of those around them
- To be available for emergency and/or winter call outs
