Ringway are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join their Milton Keynes team, delivering medium to large-scale highways schemes. This is an opportunity to take ownership of key projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. As Project Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of highways schemes and manage both internal teams and supply chain partners. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards across safety, quality, and financial performance, as well as maintaining a visible presence on site.

Duties

  • Manage and promote a strong health & safety culture across all operations
  • Oversee the delivery of projects in line with programme, budget, and business objectives
  • Monitor financial performance, including cost and value reporting, ensuring targets are met
  • Develop and manage project plans, resources, and delivery programmes
  • Ensure work applications and documentation are submitted within required timescales
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Lead site operations with a proactive and visible management approach
  • Support and develop teams, identifying skills gaps and training needs
  • Ensure compliance with company systems, procedures, and quality standards

Person Specification

  • Proven experience managing highways or civil engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, including planning, programming, and resource management
  • Experience managing budgets and interpreting cost/value reports
  • Demonstrable leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards
