Ringway Infrastructure Services is currently recruiting for a Structures Supervisor to join the Gloucester team, supporting the delivery of highways and structures maintenance across the contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to take ownership of structural works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

As a Structures Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of works relating to highway structures, including bridges, retaining walls, and associated assets. You’ll work closely with operational teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure works are planned effectively, executed safely, and aligned with programme and budget requirements. This is a hands-on role combining both site and office-based responsibilities.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate structural maintenance and improvement works
  • Manage operational teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely and efficiently
  • Plan and allocate resources to meet programme deadlines
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards
  • Review and manage RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are implemented
  • Carry out site inspections and audits
  • Monitor performance against productivity and KPI targets
  • Support cost control and programme reporting
  • Liaise with clients, engineers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication
  • Promote a strong health & safety culture across all works

Person Specification

  • Experience in a supervisory role within highways, structures or civil engineering
  • Strong knowledge of structural works (e.g. bridges, concrete repairs, inspections)
  • Experience managing teams and subcontractors on site
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations and site compliance
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical information
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time – 40 hours, Monday to Friday
