To carry out a wide range of routine or cyclical works and operations. Deputise for Chargehand as and when required. Able to run a 2 person crew on specific jobs and ensure work is carried out to specification. Manage safety of the team and complete all necessary reporting, paper or electronic. Where required, respond to emergencies and call outs during or out of hours, and assist with winter maintenance.

Specialist Skills:
- Able to carry out basic safety, quality and environmental audits and risk assessment
- Able to understand and carry out work as set out in a specification
- Able to take responsibility for traffic management
- Generally hold 18 months+ experience
- NVQ2 LGV licence
- NRSWA if required
- Use a range of power tools and equipment
- Use of PDA as required
- Able to give clear basic instructions OR specialist skills in one of the following: Specialist driving / gully emptying / LGV Winter / VRS (basic) / TM 12 a, b, c or d / Dealing with the public / NVQ2 Winter - 6159
