To carry out general maintenance works, traffic management and other cyclic operations on the highway.

Responsibilities

  • To work safely and be responsible for personal safety, the safety of the whole gang, and that of others who come into contact with our works.
  • To carry out all required checks of plant, equipment and vehicles including completion of associated reports.
  • To undertake works as instructed without direct supervision ensuring they are completed to specification and programme.
  • To accurately complete daily record sheets and submit them at the end of each day.
  • To respond to out of office hours emergencies in accordance with roster and within required timescales if required.
  • To participate in Winter Maintenance standby.
  • To undergo all necessary training to ensure you are competent to undertake the tasks assigned to you.
  • To follow company procedures at all times.
  • To actively foster a positive employee morale.
  • To willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management.
