We\’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to help deliver our essential Road Safety Education Programme in primary schools across the county.
While the role does involve travel, we’ll do our best to assign you to a group of schools as close to your home as possible. Reporting to the Road Safety Team Leader, you\’ll receive full training, ongoing support, and opportunities for professional development.
Your ability to engage confidently with both children and adults is essential, as you\’ll be independently liaising with schools and bringing road safety education to life in the classroom.
The Role
- Work as part of a team delivering road safety interventions, raising awareness, educating and behavioural change sessions to children and adults.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with partner organisations, institutions, schools, colleges, community groups, special interest groups and businesses.
- Contribute to developing educational interventions, resources and materials to support delivery.
- Record data from visits and evaluation of the sessions delivered.
- Management of Health and safety for the activities undertaken.
About You
- Full UK driving license and is willing to travel. Willing to drive SERP vehicles (no special licence requirements).
- Experience of education / training.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and online meeting platforms eg Zoom or MS Teams).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
