Cheshire East Highways (CEH) is seeking a motivated Business Administration Apprentice to join the Green Claims Team. This permanent role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 2/3 Business Administration qualification within the first 18 months. You will support the recovery of costs for damage to highway assets, work closely with internal teams and stakeholders, and develop valuable skills that contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.
The Role
- Undertake the Business Administration Apprenticeship training programme at a local college
- Provide administrative support to the Green Claims Team
- Communicate with third parties and stakeholders regarding green claim activity
- Assist with the processing and recovery of green claim invoices
- Support wider teams with key processes and administrative tasks
About You
- Experience of Microsoft systems (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, databases)
- Minimum English GCSE A*-C or 9-4
- Strong organisational skills
- Good communication skills written, verbal and interpersonal
- Passion and willingness to learn and develop new skills
