The Head of HR is responsible for shaping and delivering people strategies across the business. By partnering with senior leaders, you will drive impactful pragmatic HR initiatives whilst leading a well-established people function.
Acting as a trusted advisor, this is a broad role that operates in an environment with high autonomy and trust and balances strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery of practical and commercially focused solutions.
Responsibilities- Leading and developing a well-established HR team.
- Developing and implementing people strategies that align with business priorities and reflect our visions and values.
- Partnering with senior leaders to ensure fairness, inclusion and respect is at the heart of business decisions and supports a culture of growth, honesty and flexibility.
- Ensuring compliance with UK legislation, development of streamlined processes and procedures and implementation of best practice.
- Advising on complex employee relations matters including TUPE, redundancy, organisational design and change management.
- Designing and developing management learning materials to upskill new and existing managers to ensure fairness and consistency and role model our ABC of leadership.
- Providing advice and support regarding the recruitment, development and retention of key roles across the business, succession planning and talent management.
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships across the business to ensure a collaborative approach to business solutions is adopted and maintained.
- Have a proven track record as a generalist HR practitioner at a senior level.
- Are confident, resilient and comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
- Work with a proactive and pragmatic approach that values 'real world' experience over theory.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness.
- Are a self-starter with a people focused mind-set who enjoys seeing others grow and develop.
