We’re looking for an experienced business development professional to join our European team and play a lead role in developing the region. This role sits within our Client Relations team and reports to the Managing Director, EMEA + ROW. You’ll be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities with private capital investors and their portfolio companies, while building and maintaining long-term relationships with both new and existing clients. The role is remote-first, with occasional travel to visit clients and industry events. It’s a fast-moving environment, well-suited to someone who enjoys learning quickly, thinking strategically, and working closely with other senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who bring strength across multiple dimensions of the role. Experience often shows up in different ways, but we see four core areas as particularly valuable:
- Exposure to private capital environments, such as Private Equity, growth equity, venture, or portfolio companies
- Technology fluency, including comfort discussing how modern software is built, scaled, and assessed
- Experience with technical due diligence, technology advisory, or close collaboration with diligence teams
- Strong client-facing and commercial experience, including relationship management and complex sales cycles
Candidates with strength in two or more of these areas are strongly encouraged to apply. Geographically, the role will primarily focus on London and Nordic markets, while working closely with RingStone’s broader EMEA and global teams.
Role and Responsibilities
This role works closely with senior leadership, delivery teams, and the broader Client Relations group. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop a deep understanding of RingStone’s offerings, methodologies, and proprietary tools, and represent them credibly with investors and portfolio company leadership
- Identify, qualify, and progress new opportunities with private capital investors and their portfolio companies, managing engagements from initial outreach through close
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact in collaboration with senior leadership
- Engage prospects through a thoughtful mix of targeted outreach, referrals, events, and network-driven activity
- Lead and participate in client meetings to understand commercial and technical needs, shaping opportunities in partnership with delivery teams
- Support and participate in industry events, roundtables, and networking initiatives to strengthen RingStone’s market presence
