Overview

This role is a new position for a BTR Director of Leasing & Operations, based in London.

The individual will lead leasing, operations, and management of new‑build and existing BTR blocks for funds, trusts and private equity clients.

Performance‑Related Pay

Employment Status

Tax‑efficient PAYE with director drawings. Estimated turnover 31st March 2023: £1,045,000.

Responsibilities

  • Lead leasing, operations and management for new‑build and existing BTR assets.
  • Price rents, complete tenders and hold own in tender panels.
  • Build, train, motivate, manage and incentivise leasing teams.
  • Maintain quality control, ensure adherence to processes and continuously improve them.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to improve numbers and achieve targets.
  • Drive ESG initiatives, fostering stewardship and social aspects across teams.
  • Step in for colleagues when on holiday.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Track record of success in BTR leasing and operations.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Strong formal reporting ability to fund managers and private equity owners.
  • Marketing savvy with creativity across marketing strategies.
  • Goal‑oriented, capable of pricing new stock and training on‑site leasing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with ESG and social impact reporting.
