We are looking to recruit chefs of all levels ready to take the next step in their careers for a newly refurbished, beautiful canal-side pub serving a fresh menu of small tapas plates and traditional pub classics. Our new outdoor pizza oven will be launched in the coming weeks also.

We are closed on Mondays and last food orders are 8pm Tuesday to Saturday and 7pm on Sundays. We are happy to discuss full or part-time roles for the right person!

Location: Ring OBells, Marple

Hours: Flexible to suit the right candidate (full-time or part-time)

Pay: Competitive, depending on experience

About Us: The Ring OBells is a welcoming local pub in the heart of Marple, which will be known for our great atmosphere, friendly team, and quality food. The pub has just undergone a complete refurbishment and change of management. All the kitchen equipment is brand new! Our menu combines traditional English favourites with a selection of tasty tapas dishes, all freshly prepared in-house.

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable chefs to work with our Head Chef on a full-time or part-time basis to help us maintain our high standards.

The Role: You'll assist with preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes from our English and tapas menu. Working as part of a small, friendly team, you'll help ensure food is consistently fresh, well-presented, and served on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard
  • Support the team with daily prep and service
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen
  • Follow all hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed

About You:

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
  • Passionate about good food and teamwork
  • Reliable, organised, and able to stay calm under pressure
  • Food hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
