RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in Scotland.
Experienced Umbilical inspector to be demonstrated through CV including:
- Tube welding inspection
- NDT Inspection (minimum level 2)
- Mechanical Testing Inspection
- Pressure Testing
- Load-out Activities
Requirements:
- Mechanical Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering or graduate from high school in relevant branches) / certificates such as NDT, welding, coating, etc.
- Experience as Mechanical Inspector (minimum). Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections.
- Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
- Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients if needed.
- Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service.
Component Manufacture – 2 16 1/2mm2/ 2 x10mm2 TSQGWB Electric Cables, Electric Cables Splices, Fillers and Oversheathing of Steel Tubes for all umbilicals.
Contract: To Freelancer or to Inspector agencies, for ad hoc activities.
