RINA is looking for experienced Mechanical Inspector to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK
Requested:
- Extensive mechanical inspection experience with ASNT 2 NDT or equivalent
- Mechanical Degree ( Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering or graduate from high school in relevant branches)
- Experience as an Offshore Inspector (min. 3 years); Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
- Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
- Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
- Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
- Witness NDE testing and final inspection of flanges and seal rings in accordance with inspection and test plan and associated project documentation / specifications
- Visual inspection, witness testing, review and endorsement of documentation/certification, generation of IRN, photographs.
