RINA is looking for an experienced electrical inspector to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

  • Bachelor Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • E & I equipment experience in installation and manufacturing inspections
  • 5 years min. of quality inspection in the manufacturing of Telecom package
  • Good Knowledge of GAD, electrical schematic diagram, wiring diagram, P&ID, engineering data sheet
  • Good knowledge of Inspection reports, Material certifications, Inspection release note
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge in interpreting IEC60079-14 and IEC60079-17 for the installation and inspection of Ex certified equipment for hazardous location
  • Certified Ex Inspector by an APPROVED third-party Ex Hazardous Area Equipment Training Organization in accordance with IEC 60079
  • Experience in reviewing Calibration Certificates, Ex certificates (ATEX/IEC Ex), SIL Certificates and etc.
  • Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports
  • Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need
  • Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service
