RINA is looking for experienced Laser Welding inspectors with Eddy Current NDT to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.
Job description:
- Monitoring and reporting any HSE incidents or issues.
- Monitoring and reporting any NCRs.
- Overseeing load in and out for TP's and Jackets.
- Reviewing documentation.
- Reviewing method statements and coating & welding procedures.
- Carrying out surveillance.
- Reviewing ITP's and specifications.
- Using iAuditor for reporting snags.
- Liaising with senior management.
Requested:
- GWO WAH Certificate
- Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor's premises.
- Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections.
- Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
- Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need.
- Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service.
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom. Must be local or be able to commute to Edinburgh.
Period: 2/9/2026.
Contract: To Freelancer or to Inspector agencies, for ad hoc activities.
