RINA is supporting a lead Oil Company for a new upstream, offshore EPC project in Africa. The client has awarded subcontractors for the fabrication of offshore & subsea equipment and we are looking for subsea engineers that will act as the client’s representative during fabrication of assets.
Xmas trees and SPS engineers will witness the manufacturing of Xmas trees, UTA, UTH, MCS, PLET, FLET, connectors, HFL, EFFL, etc. Place of work: Aberdeen with trips to Bristol, period May 2026 to July 2027.
Offshore Flexible Risers engineer will witness the manufacturing of flexible risers. Place of work: Newcastle and Denmark (Copenhagen), period March 2026 to December 2027.
Acting as interface with the Client, they will witness the progress of fabrication in terms of quality, time and adherence to approved design and manufacturing readiness until manufacturing completion and FAT. The engineers will work on a resident base at Vendor’s premises acting as client’s representative.
Since more than one production facility will be involved, each role will develop in two different cities (e.g., Aberdeen + Bristol for SPS and XT, Newcastle + Copenhagen for risers) and flexibility with travelling is required. A possible continuation of the role in Africa during installation and commissioning phase, also offshore, is possible and will be evaluated after fabrication completion.
The role requires 10-15 years’ experience in the delivery of offshore EPC projects, from engineering phase to manufacturing of flexible risers, SPS, control systems, risers, including installation and commissioning. The assignment at Vendor’s premises is expected to start in April 2026 and will end in January 2028.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
