About The Role

Do you value the impact of Education? Are you able to motivate and inspire? Would you succeed in mentoring and developing the skills of our students?

At East Coast College, we appreciate the importance of engaging and supporting our students throughout their college experience and know that it’s more than just what’s offered in the classroom.

The role of a Success Coach is fundamental in equipping students with the skills needed to facilitate independent learning, encourage progression, and ensure that they effectively engage to maximise opportunities to succeed in both personal and professional goals.

Working closely with a team of highly experienced and dedicated tutors, your time will be self-managed to work with students in 1:1 and group settings, and develop strategies to raise student achievement which reflect the high standard of college expectations.

What we need from you and the role;

  • Organisation – Manage and lead tutorials covering Personal Social Development (PSD)
  • Engagement – Monitor and encourage attendance, behaviour, punctuality
  • Inspiration – Encourage aspirations and progression within and outside of ECC
  • Commitment – Pastoral support, exam support, staff cover, and safeguarding
