Rimkus Project Services are seeking talented Senior Quantity Surveyors with a proven track record of providing commercial management and contract services on major infrastructure projects.

We are interested in talking to ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyors who can deliver value in every phase of the project lifecycle.

You will deliver successful commercial outcomes working alongside project delivery teams for our clients based throughout the UK. We require flexibility and a commitment to service delivery. Our typical working week is hybrid, split between 3 days working on projects or at client offices and typically 2 days home working.

Deliverables

You will have the right to work in the UK and provide contract and commercial management services where your deliverables may include:

  • Pre and post contract commercial support and contract administration
  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports across the lifecycle of your projects.
  • Provide accurate monitoring, forecasting and reporting of project costs and programme performance ensuring value for money and cost efficiency for clients
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Support the administration of NEC contracts providing commercial assurance and compliance.
  • Manage contract change ensuring risk and value management
  • Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders
  • Establishing friendly, professional and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support.
  • Pro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract FOTC and ensuring stakeholders are informed in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that accounts are agreed and closed in accordance with the contract terms.
  • Support Client internal governance and reporting requirements
Qualifications
  • A recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Professional accreditation (RICS) preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years relevant post graduate experience.
  • Proven track record of commercial management of major infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience with NEC contracts and similar.
  • Demonstrable experience working and leading a commercial team delivering infrastructure, or similar projects, preferably as an embedded role within a client organisation.
  • Stakeholder management skills embedded within multi-disciplined teams to achieve successful project delivery for their client.
  • Experience of the use of contract management systems such as CEMAR/FASTDRAFT.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Rimkus Project Services UK support all employees with the attainment of professional accreditation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
