Rimkus experts specialise in forensic consulting, dispute resolution and construction management services, solutions for the built environment, and human factors support for the consumer, industrial, and healthcare industries.
Due to increasing demand from our local clients, we are expanding in Adelaide. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join us as Senior Consultant.
The role
In this role, you will provide commercial and contractual expertise to a diverse range of organisations. Our projects span across transport infrastructure, asset maintenance, utilities, and commercial building sectors. As a member of our team, you will take ownership of client relationships, managing their day-to-day needs. Our work primarily involves identifying and managing contractual entitlements and offering expert commercial insights into cost and program challenges.
Our Requirements
- A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 7 years industry experience working for a construction or engineering contractor and/or specialist consultancy in this area
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) preferred.
- Project experience is essential
- Excellent letter and report writing skills.
- The ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience
- A capacity for analytical thinking and problem solving
- An ability work with a variety of people to achieve the correct outcomes for the client or project.
