We are actively seeking an experienced Sr. Account Executive (SAE) focused on the UK public sector to sell our world-class service offerings. The role will report directly to a Director of Sales, EMEA and may work from a remote office within the United Kingdom. The role will require periodic travel as necessary (expected 30% - 50%) across the Theatre/Region to meet with prospects and clients.

The right candidate will have:

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a proven track record of sales excellence within UK Central Government or Defence.
  • The ability to meet/exceed quotas and a passion for winning.
  • Experience in building pipeline to capture new logos and expand our business with our solution portfolio.
  • 10+ years’ enterprise selling experience, particularly in the UK Public Sector.
  • Experience of selling into an existing network of C-level contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create awareness and demand for Rimini Street products and services by developing your territory with the support of field marketing and your own planned outreach.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow-up, networking, and working with the lead generation team.
  • Establish a dialogue with prospects and understand their unique goals, problems, and needs.
  • Provide and guide prospects’ strategic vision to drive them toward the Rimini Street solutions portfolio.
  • Use company provided assets to create or customize compelling sales presentation messages, positioning statements, and other sales collateral for specific sales opportunities.
  • Orchestrate and drive the Rimini Street sales process by working collaboratively with functional peers (Sales Engineers, Delivery, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Finance) to successfully win an opportunity.
  • Implement and utilize current Social and Digital selling strategies to maximise opportunities via Social Networking platforms.
  • Update and track all activities in our Salesforce CRM tool.
  • Accurately forecast and meet quarterly and annual sales commitments.

Skills Required:

  • Strong territory and account planning skills including ability and passion for prospecting.
  • Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to engage prospects with a consultative sales approach.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Deep knowledge of key prospecting and selling tools.
  • Able to work under stress and handle multiple critical priorities.
  • Very strong work ethic with a “can do” attitude.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
