The Role
A great opportunity is available for a full-time job within Rilmac Fabrication
Recruiting for : Industrial paint sprayer / shot blaster, based in Lincoln, – painting been the primary role.
This is a day shift position which the role will be to provide superior standards of paint finishes on in house manufactured engineering products.
The Ideal candidate must have a proven background using twin pack and single pack products using air assisted and conventional spray systems within a spray booth environment.
You must be able to work on your own or in a team environment, being self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
Be able to follow Safety guidelines, and use safety equipment provided, maintain a clean and organised work area.
The candidate will have knowledge to be able to mix and apply various types of paints using data sheets provided, work to tight tolerances, be able to use WFT along with conversant taking DFT checks and environmental checks and accurately recording the results.
Other responsibilities will include;
· Checking goods before dispatch.
· Fitting of some small components onto equipment after spraying.
· Working to tight deadlines to meet the needs of the business.
· Adhering to company health and safety procedures.
· Preparation of products ready to paint / shotblasting.
· Duties including covering of other roles may be required depending on business needs.
The Candidate
You will be an experienced (wet) paint sprayer, able to work to the correct DFT required, at the same time producing high quality finishes within a timely manner.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following;
· Experience working within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
· Experience at paint preparation and spraying and have worked in a busy workshop environment.
· The ability to produce work of high quality.
· Be able to work as part of a team.
· Flexible approach towards working hours.
· Competent user of various hand tools.
· Having a FLT license and overhead crane training is desirable but not essential.
