Maths Teacher – Kingston upon Thames | Autumn Term 2025 Location: Kingston upon Thames Start Date: 1st September 2025 End Date: 10th December 2025 Contract Type: Part-Time, Fixed Term (Autumn Term) Salary: £33,483 to £49,084 – Competitive Rates Based on Experience Are you a skilled Maths Teacher in Kingston upon Thames looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity this Autumn? A prestigious Independent Prep School for Boys aged 7–13 is seeking a committed Maths Teacher for a fixed-term position beginning in September 2025. Position Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher Kingston upon Thames to deliver engaging lessons to Years 5, 6, and 8 (with Year 8 pupils working at a Year 9 level). The successful candidate will be expected to prepare lessons, mark work, and attend parents’ evenings. An observed lesson prior to the start of term may also be required. Working Hours: * Monday: 8:45am – 1:15pm * Tuesday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (staff briefing at 8:00am) * Wednesday: 8:45am – 4:30pm (full day) * Thursday: 10:00am – 1:15pm (flexibility for 8:00am start if needed) * Friday: 8:45am – 1:15pm Key Responsibilities: * Teach Maths to Years 5, 6, and 8 (at Year 9 level) * Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons * Mark student work and provide feedback * Attend and contribute to parent-teacher meetings * Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school life Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent * Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 2 and 3 levels * Strong classroom and behaviour management skills * Passion for teaching and commitment to pupil progress This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Teacher Kingston upon Thames who values academic excellence and a supportive teaching environment.
