We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in Woolwich. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and supporting students in their learning journey.
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with special educational needs, including those with autism
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Experience Required:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Ability to educate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards studentsβ needs
