We are currently working with a special educational needs (SEN) school in Tunbridge Wells who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. This position is a 1:1 role to work with a particular student, although you could be asked to work on a group or whole class basis, too.

The teacher you are assigned to will ensure that you have all the materials and knowledge you need to support you and the student in this role. The school is a vibrant and inclusive two form entry school situated in Tunbridge Wells. The children have many different talents and skills and provide rich experiences to support learning across and beyond the curriculum. The school is proud of the warm and caring attitude they have for one another.

Suitable qualities for this role:

  • Must be proactive, adaptable and be able to work in a team
  • Support on either a 1 to 1 or small-group basis
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to be flexible like support and provide personal care on occasion
