SEN Teacher – Canterbury, Kent

Contract: Maternity Cover (Starting November 2025) | Pay: MPS / UPS £160 to £240 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with SEND or SEMH needs.
  • Teach across a range of subjects, with specialisation in Art or Maths particularly welcome.
  • Adapt existing lesson plans to suit individual learners and maintain a dynamic, pupil-focused classroom.
  • Make effective use of both classroom and outdoor learning spaces to enhance engagement and development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs.
  • A solid understanding of KS3 and KS4 curricula.
  • A creative, nurturing, and adaptable teaching approach.
